West Point Elementary

Gary Trejo, a retired Air Force veteran, taught our 5th grade students the importance of proper flag etiquette this week. Students learned how to raise and lower the flag as well as why and how to fly the flag at half-staff. Students loved learning about the history and symbolism of the American flag. Fifth grade students take turns raising and lowering our flag each day at school.
