Our mission at the West Point Elementary Library is to create a warm, welcoming environment where we seek to inspire students to become lifelong learners and readers.
We encourage students to become effective, ethical,and enthusiastic users of ideas and information.

Kindergarten and 1st grade = one book.
2nd through 6th grades = two books.
OVERDUE BOOKS: Books are due each week during the student’s Class Library Time.
OPEN LIBRARY: Open Library time is at 3:10 Monday through Thursday for students needing additional opportunities to exchange books.

The Library Media DESK focuses and prioritizes the reading and information literacy skills that students need to know and be able to use to help them read and research effectively in all subjects and with a variety of technologies.
